Oof, I don't know if I could handle that much in 12 weeks (anything worth keeping, anyway), but those prompts are fire! I might use some of them for shorter story ideas. I'm not good at Wattpad either; where are the rest of the prompts?

Here are the rest of the prompts, just ignore the genre suggestions. You can write any prompt in any genre you want https://www.wattpad.com/1508916771?utm_source=ios&utm_medium=link&utm_content=share_reading&wp_page=reading_part_end&wp_uname=CyndaGallagher

Fantastic selection! I’m seriously considering participating. I only heard of it about a week ago for the first time, and I need to get my head around the rules a little. But there are so many great prompts, and I love the pacing of this challenge. I’m planning to go through the prompts today and pick one or two of my favourites. Do you have any tips for first timers?

You should try it! You don’t have to submit anything til the end(ish) of February. I’d say have fun and definitely interact with the community, I’ve made great writing buddies throughout the years and everyone is so kind and talented. The first round is 2k words, the 2nd round is 8k words (total), then the last round you have to finish and hit that 20k (total) so my best advice is to write significantly MORE words than the first two rounds call for, otherwise you’re gonna be pulling some heavy weight that last round. Try to shoot for 7,000 words per month. Keep a writing journal. Also, in the comment section here there are many great tips! https://www.wattpad.com/1508916708?utm_source=ios&utm_medium=link&utm_content=share_reading&wp_page=reading_part_end&wp_uname=CyndaGallagher
